Since 2012, various studies evaluating the experience of distributing government assistance and subsidies to households, as well as trials of the use of various distribution technologies have been conducted. The technology for distributing government assistance and subsidies to households that has been tested includes the use of debit cards and various financial technologies (fintech) such as facial biometrics, fingerprint biometrics, mobile phone accounts, NFC, SMS/E-Vouchers, and QR Codes. From the results of various studies and trials of these technologies, it can be concluded that the use of fintech technology with facial biometrics as authentication is the most optimal choice.
