Credit scoring development plays an important role in
improving inclusive finance. This is because credit scoring development can encourage
credit access for individuals and micro, small, and medium enterprises, which are currently still
largely classified as unbanked and underbanked groups. The unbanked and underbanked groups in Indonesia are still relatively large compared to other ASEAN countries. To accelerate the development of credit scoring,
the use of credit scoring models and variations in scoring data have been significantly
increased in recent years due to better access to a wider variety of data, increased computing power, greater demand for
increased efficiency, and economic growth.
