The Indonesian Fintech Association (AFTECH) held a meeting with the Executive Head of Capital Market, Derivatives Finance, and Carbon Exchange Supervision at the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Mr. Hasan Fawzi, on 25 May 2026.
The meeting served as a strategic discussion between AFTECH and OJK on strengthening access to global investment opportunities for Indonesian investors through safe, transparent, and regulated domestic channels.
During the discussion, several key issues were addressed, including the expansion of access to global securities, regulatory and tax certainty, investor protection, and the importance of maintaining the competitiveness of Indonesia’s digital investment ecosystem amid growing public interest in global investment products.
AFTECH emphasized that strengthening domestic investment channels plays an important role in ensuring that Indonesian investors can access global products with adequate protection while remaining within the regulatory framework. This is also part of a broader effort to support the growth of a healthy, competitive, and sustainable digital investment industry.
Through close collaboration between regulators and industry players, AFTECH remains committed to supporting the development of a safer, more inclusive, and trusted digital financial ecosystem in Indonesia.
