About AFTECH

Established in 2016, AFTECH is an association for fintech start-ups, financial institutions, and technology companies in the financial services industry. With a vision and mission to support financial inclusion through digital financial services, AFTECH activities include policy advocacy, collaborative community development, literacy and education programs, as well as knowledge and intelligence initiative. In August 2019, AFTECH is formally appointed by the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) as the Association for Digital Finance Innovation (Inovasi Keuangan Digital). As of today, AFTECH has more than 340 members which include:  fintech start-ups members, financial institutions, as well as technology partners. 

Brief:

We are looking for experienced marketing and communications professional to lead the design of strategy, implementation as well as monitoring and evaluation of AFTECH marketing and communications activities; cultivate and maintain relations with key stakeholders; as well as strengthen membership management.

Job Descriptions:

• Lead the development of annual marketing and communications strategy
• Lead the implementation of annual marketing and communications plan, including social media campaign, website, financial literacy programs, events
• Build and/or strengthen relations with key stakeholders, including media, other associations, other financial institutions, as well as regulators
• Ensure the quality of the membership onboarding process
• Strengthen membership management, including membership benefits, programs, and communications
• Monitoring and evaluation of marketing, communication, and community activities
• Development of Annual Members Report

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field (GPA min.3,5)
• ± 10 years working experience in marketing, communications, business or related field. Experience in working with an international organization and/or industry association is an advantage
• Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media and content marketing
• Experience in media relations
• Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Fluent in English (both speaking and writing) and strong copywriting skills
• High competence in stakeholder management
• Possess the ability to multitask
• Ability to manage budget
• Ability to work independently and/or within a team in an efficient manner
• Pro-active attitude and high integrity
